First pair amazing, second not so much.

Have had two pairs of these, my first pair I use in the colder months and are sized a little larger to accommodate thicker socks. This pair fits and feels amazing. The current pair I use for the summer is all of 2 months old and the soles are delaminating. I have no idea if kennys have change place of manufacturing to china but these are junk. $600 down the drain. Have them glued together now, weird part is only my right foot is coming apart the left is just fine.

Highly Recommend For Tree and Line Crews

I absolutely love these boots. I've had my first pair for four years and four months and just placed an order for my second. I’ve pushed them well beyond their limit. The tread is nearly gone, and the front has started to fall apart, but they’ve held up incredibly well all this time.I use them for my full-time job as a line clearance tree trimmer, which involves a lot of climbing and walking in tough conditions. I’ve also used them for hiking. The stitching on the back end is blown out, and I honestly don't think I could have pushed them any longer than I did. With this new pair of boots, I will definitely send them off to be resoled when the time comes. If you need boots that can handle serious work and long wear, these are it.

Not sure why everyone raves about these boots

So I haven’t been able to find too many reviews of these and the ones I could find were people swearing these were the best boots they’ve ever owned. Here’s my experience with them: I’ve worn these for a few weeks at work and they’re still somewhat stiff as far as wearing them in goes. Initially they pinched certain places on my feet throughout the day but that’s not as bad now that the leather has become more makes me after wearing. The soles that come with the boots are absolute garbage, throw those out and get some higher end arch support ones, that made a night and day difference with how comfortable these boots became. These aren’t the most flexible boots like others I’ve worn, but as far as waterproofing goes they work great since I work in a lot of wet environments at my job as a water distribution system operator. Overall would I buy them again? Probably not but I’ll make the best of them and hopefully they wear in better. Not sure why everyone rants and raves about these boots unless that’s the only boot they’ve ever worn in their life. They’re average boots to me.
